 Meet Jessika!

 Here is the birthday party the workers were setting up for.

Yay I got my 24th doll today! She is my first non Historical or Girl of the Year doll! I named her Jessika after my best friend when I was younger. Since this doll came out I have been wanting to get her for about eight years, but every time I get a doll I pick it because typically she is going to be retired that year. We got to the store 15 minutes before they closed so I was not able to go through out the whole store but it is much smaller then Dallas, and they do not have a party room. This means they have to hold private parties in the front of the store. The staff of the store was very knowledgeable on the products which I appreciate being an older collector (at the Houston store one worker called my Ruthie doll Rebecca). The mall that the store is located at is beautiful and unique!

Spring Break

This is very unexpected, but my family and I are in Denver Colorado! That means we will be going to the American Girl Denver Store! We have been planing to go this week but with the snow storms my mom was worried but instead of going through Kansas we went through New Mexico. Not till yesterday did I even realize that we would be in the same city as an American Girl store I have not shopped at! I brought Samantha and Saige with me to go to the store... usually I bring all of them to new stores for our first visit but are suburban broke down in January and we are borrowing my granddad's mini van because we only have small cars. My sister is a senior and is interested in going to CCU next year, so tomorrow and Friday we are touring the school. We are going to head back home on Sunday. Thankfully I only have school on Tuesday and Thursday, so even if were get back early in the morning on Monday I don't have school like my siblings.

Getting Saige today was different then normal my mom is sick so she had to stay home so only my sisters and I went. I only ended up getting Saige and not any of her outfits but I plan on getting some of them and I really want the hot air balloon! Ever since a friend of mine two years ago told me about when she did it and loved it, I have been obsessed. My favorite craft was the horse mosaic because even my youngest sister liked and wanted to do it... usually she just does them because I want her to do them. I also like the sketch pad because it is good quality for being free and has a lot of pages to draw on. I love that they gave away the shirt to the girl who entered! They were not going to give one to us because we were older and not the age rage but when I asked they let us have them. We got 3 and I am going to give one to my cousin along with a sketch pad and poster because she does not live buy a store and she has four American Girl dolls.

What I am excited about for this up coming week is that I am going on a ski trip to New Mexico and that is where Saige is from! I cant wait to take pictures there.
